friends laughing then to sit at home and think about the life he left
back in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Can be brooding at times, that usually is
when he has had contact with family. Doesn't get along with his father
since his father has told him he is a traitor to the family and has
basically disowned him for coming to the states.

is like any normal man, loves gadgets of any kind is usually the one
that has the newest and latest thing to come out. His home is a trove
of things, ranging from rare comic books to a good size collection of
DVD movies. Loves going to the beach, either get in a game of volley
ball or just spend the day with his sketch book drawing. Alek hates
superficial people and peolpe who dumb themselves down in his eyes.
Loves children but doesn't consider himself father material. Doesn't
eat the normal breakfast, usually just eats whatever was left over from
the night before.
History:
Alek was born the youngest son of Vladimir and Irina Liliana in the
city of Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina. Life for him was good during the
early years. Yes it was a hard life but for children growing up there
it normal. It wasn't until he had become a teenager did he realize just
how dangerous his world was. When the war started friends became enemies,
death was all around. The air smelt of smoldering death. Death didn't
over look the Liliana household. Alek lost two brothers, an uncle, numerous
friends in the war. More would have been lost had it not been for his
father getting them out of Bosnia-Herzegovina. Alek was outraged why
the world looked on, yet did nothing. Time they did do something, millions
had been killed.
This affected him very much. He
couldn't look at his homeland the same way. Once the war was over and
people began to resettle back into Sarajevo, he couldn't go back. He
didn't want to leave Italy where his father had taken them. This was
a great fight between him and Vladimir who called his son a traitor
to the family. Cause he wouldn't go back and help rebuild everything
that had been lost. The two parted that day and haven't spoken again
since. Being in his late teens, he looked for work in Rome and soon
found work as a gardner at the US Embassy of all places. While there
he took up a friendship with the Ambassador's son and the two became
fast friends.
Ambassador Jennings was the one
that helped Aleksei get a green card and paid for him to go to the states.
Wanting the boy to have a chance to find himself a better life then
the one he had to flee in Bonsia-Herzegovina.
Once Alek arrived in Virgina, he
lived with one of the Ambassador's friends until he was able to find
a job. Once he got a job he then began to think about how to continue
his education. Having enjoyed school back home he sought help through
local agencies who helped him apply to local communinty colleges taking
part in programs specially for people who come from outside the country.
Took about four months, but soon Alek found himself attending a community
college and majoring in AAS RT, having read up on respiratory medicne
while sitting in a doctor's office once. He thought it sounded interesting
and choice it after speaking with his guidence counselor.
Four years later he had finished
his college and now was looking for a job where he could start a new
life. Once place he read about was the state-of-art RRU (respiratory
Response Unit) at Ocean Cove Memorial Hostpial in Ocean Cove, California.
It sounded like something his training would and could handle, plus
it was in California were the movie stars was and he was an avide lover
of movies. Making the move he moved to OCean Cove and soon began working
at OCM Hospital.
