Psychological Background: He's a normal person, has his days where he's bitchy and days he's in a great mood. He has learned to not let the patients get to close, but like all humans, sometimes they sneak in and later you pay for it.

Personality Quirks: Likes to drink, loves sweats and loves to flirt, even if he doesn't mean it. Is addicted to Pepsi/Faygo, whatever, but the dark, caffeinated syrup stuff. Usually you'll find him with a can of soda around somewhere.

History: Conley was born the last child of 2 to his parents, two very busy and well known doctors. His father was the head surgeon at John Hopkins Hospital, while his mother was Chief of Transplant surgery there as well. It was amazing they had time to have children.

But the two they did have, were loved, and cared for greatly by their parents. When they had time to spend with the boys. They were both smart and loving boys and since their parents were gone, they spent more time together then apart.

His brother, James, was older and more the adventurous one, where Conley spent more time in the books and sports. Which in the end, showed why when they were in their teens, James got involved with the booze and drugs. He tried to get Conley involved, but he wouldn't do it.

What he did do, was finally tell his parents when James started to steal things from the house for his habit. That didn't go over well and James flipped. He hit Conley and left the house, when his parents tried to get him into rehab. They never saw him again. No one knows if he's alive or dead, or what he's doing.

After that, it fell to Conley to fulfill all his parents hopes and dreams for their children. Which he didn't fail. He decided, to become a doctor as well, but for his own reasons, not to make his parents happy. He loved the medical field. And volunteered at the hospital during the summers off from school. But to make his parents happy, he was going to be a surgeon.

He soon graduated from high school and went to college, where everything he did was to become a surgeon. Also there, he met his future wife Lynn and they fell in love. Lynn was studying to be a lawyer, so they both worked hard, but didn't get to spend quite enough time together. But after college, where they were going to move on to separate areas, Conley asked her to marry him and go with him back to Maryland.

She agreed and like his parents, Conley was accepted to John Hopkins Medical school. When it came time for his 3rd year of medical school, instead of staying in Maryland, he went to California. Simply for the fact Lynn got a job with a prestigious law firm there. He got accepted to a medical school there and ended up in Ocean Cove Hospital, where he's been ever since. He found he loved emergency medicine more and changed his field. Which didn't make his parent's to happy, but they lived with it.
