Psychological Background: A very passionate and ambitious person, when she pursues something she's consumed by it till she's achieved it. She tends to be very shy around new people, but once she warms up to you her bubbly personality is quite pleasant to be around.

Personality Quirks: Nina has a habit of humming when she's happy, as well as a habit of biting her lower lip, when nervous or anxious. For the most part the only time she speaks with an accent is when she's angry.

History: Beth is the oldest child of 3. Growing up in a Biracial family wasn't to hard in her native home of Kerry Ireland, but when her Father decided to move to America life got difficult. Beth was eight at the time and had never heard any racist remarks before growing up in a small town. But once in her new school she was always picked on one for being biracial and two for having the nerve to have an accent.

So Beth coped the only way she new how and that was by throwing herself into her studies. She was did very well in School and was somewhat of a Science geek, which really didn't help with her popularity problems.

College changed all that. She was accepted into the University of California out side of Ohio people where different more accepting. She decided to follow in her fathers footsteps and become a Doctor like her father because she liked to help people especially children so she chose to specialize in children's emergency medicine.
