History: Ramsey
was born the oldest child to his parents. Two cops on the force in Australia.
They both meet while working for the Australian Force, pretty quick
they fell in love.
They meet and married and soon
had two children. Both of them were happy children, Ramsey always seemed
the more risky child, the one that got all the broken bones and worried
his parents the most.
He also did ok in school, not great
like his sister, but good enough to graduate. His problem wasn't that
he wasn't smart like her; he just spent more time surfing, smoking pot
and having girlfriends, then studying. When it came to test time, he
went to his sister for help to pass the tests.
With doing that he soon graduated.
But not before giving his parents one more heart attack and stealing
a car. He got busted and his parents had to do a lot to keep him out
of jail. They wondered then if they should move the kids from Australia
to the states, but after much talk, they decided not.
About this time as well, Ramsey
meet a young woman, Helen Cane. They dated and Helen told him she was
pregnant, so as soon as they graduated, Ramsey married Helen. They were
very much in love and we're setting up house, when at about 5 months,
Helen went into premature labor.
A
few
hours later, their son was born but he didn't survive. They were both
devastated, but other then grieving and moving on, there wasn't anything
they could do.
Also
at that time Ramsey was going to college and to be the doctor he wanted
to be, he had to pay attention to his studies.
After much counseling and working
together, they were eventually able to move on. But Helen wasn't ready
to try for another child just yet. By the time she was ready, Ramsey
was just about in medical school.
So during his last few months of college, Helen got pregnant again.
But that once again ended in a tragic night. They were on their way
home from a college party, with Ramsey driving, when they got hit by
another car, Ramsey walked away, with only a broken left arm, collarbone,
the works on his left arm, Helen didn't survive.
After the funeral, he couldn't
stay around his family or hers. So he took all the money they had and
went to America to go to medical school. He kept going, cause that's
what he knew Helen wanted, what she worked for all those years.
He's now in the start of his 2nd
year of residency and his mood hasn't seemed to change.
