5' 11" Hobbies: Dancing, drawing, music (she plays Piano, flute), driving (doesn't get to do too much of it), long nature walks, swimming, martial arts (knows aikido and tai-chi). Horse back riding, photography and Opera. Psychological Background: There is a side of Katlyn that rarely gets let out behind the mask of confidence. Katlyn longs to have a more lasting relationship with her father since her mother's death. At best as it is right now her father and her relationship is one that is stressed. Personality Quirks: Katlyn as a strongly allergy to cigarette smoke, but usually doesn't tell anyone. When someone lights up around her she moves so the smoke doesn't come right at her, otherwise she starts coughing and gets so bad she needs a inhaler to help her breathing. Wears a necklace that was her mother's, it's a white gold pendent with her parent's picture inside of it. Never takes it off. Doesn't go for dresses that much, since it harder to ride her motorcycle in a dress. Likes to eat Granola, for breakfast, or ice cream, anytime. Loves Red Bull energy soda and always has a pack of gum on her for what she calls a 'chew emergency'. Background: Katlyn Aleksandra Kalari was born the only child of Mahesh and Laurel Kalari in London, England. Her mother was British and father Indian, her mixed heritage made her unique to the British people around her growing up. She knew early in life that she wanted to be a doctor. Her mother was sick a lot and when Katlyn wasn't in school she was helping take care of her. When Katlyn though turned ten years old her mother died, leaving Katlyn with her father who then turned and sent her off to boarding school cause he didn't know how to raise a girl nor did he want to look at something that reminded him of his late wife. The first year at boarding school Katlyn
struggled with fitting in. Still suffering the loss of her mother and
now separated from her father only made her life harder. It wasn't The years she spent away from her father only made the resentment grow inside her. Finally by the time she graduated at the age of 17, they hardly spoke at all. Katlyn then was accepted at Stanford University. She loved college life, unlike most students who felt the pressure, Katlyn worked hard at keeping herself busy. Usually she was always reading a text book, cramming at the last minute for tests. There were the days where she would skip out and head for the beach. The only times she heard from her father was when he would send money to pay the tuition fees. When she graduated college, she then turned around and applied to Stanford University School of Medicine where she worked toward her major of emergency medicine. Currently at the age of 27 she is in her last year of Residency, and working at Ocean Cove Memorial Hospital as Chief Resident. Special Notes: Blood Type, AB.
