Psychological Background: Kelly is intense in everything she does, when on duty she is very attentive. When she isn’t on duty she is usually dancing somewhere. Her first and only love has been dancing.

Personality Quirks: Kelly tends to dance down the hallways. When on duty her hair is braided tightly and coiled around her head.

History: Kelly was the daughter of Keani and Ryu Nakumera. They had two other children; Keigi and Inoke. Keani is a champion hula dancer. She started Kelly and her siblings in the hula as
soon as they could walk.

It was a game, but Kelly was the only one that kept it up. Because of the early training she took to all forms of dancing. To the delight of her father she also excelled at math and science.

She spent most of her early life in Hawaii, and has won several hula trophies. She was applying to Juliard when she was diagnosed with MS. She didn’t have enough training in other arts to get in. She ended up going to high school in Hawaii, she was valedictorian. Kelly went to UCLA to majoring in dancing, her MS got in the way again, so she took classes in medicine so she could find a cure.

Her academic excellence again showed, she graduated Pre-med with top honors, but to her disappointment her MS wasn’t curable. She went on to medical school with the intention of going into neurology. She set the standard for her class and is resented by a few decent, but not stellar students.
