Psychological Background:
Ren is has
an old soul in a young body. A philosophical mind he tends to be one
of those people you either like or don't like. Lover of women, has this
almost unnatural way of knowing what women want.
Not really the player type, just for some reason understands the female
mind. Quiet, giving, loves to give love. Funny and intense at the same
time. He's a lover of words, some would say dramatic, others say he's
a renaissance man. Some
could speculate that his need to love woman stims from things in his
past, regardless of it when he's with a woman he's with them completely.
Personality Quirks: Ren
is a night owl, prefers to work the late shift or evening shift. Likes
to have fun and party, lives on beef jerky, peanuts, cheetoes, soda,
beer and lucky charms.
History: Lorenzo
Wexler was a 'throw away child.' His parents after having
him for five years decided that they weren't made out to be parents,
turned him over to the state. So much of his young life was being shifted
around from foster home to foster him in the state of Louisiana. Some
of the foster homes were good, safe and caring, then there were the
ones that always seemed to fall through the cracks. The places the system
seemed to cover up when something happened. Luckily for Ren though he
was placed with James and Karyn Wexler, a
physician and his wife who started taking in foster kids.
When James and his wife got Lorenzo
they found something in
him they hadn't seen before, someone they needed to love and wanted
to call their son. They applied for adoption and within six months,
Lorenzo was adopted by the Wexler's and had formerly given their name
shortly here after.
By the time he entered high school,
Lorenzo knew he wanted to follow his dad's career and become a medical
doctor. Though he wasn't sure if he was just going to be like his father
and do general medicine or go into a specialized career. Wasn't until
he entered college did he realize he wanted to become a specialist in
Neurology.
Lorenzo kept up an active pace
all through college, while he couldn't do everything he wanted to do
and maintain his academic education he did stay with diving and swim
team.
Once out of college, he residency
went by fairly slow for him but he took it in stride. Realizing he learned
more as a resident then he really did in college.
Lorenzo once he was through with
residency he resettled in Ocean Cove California and began to work physicians
group, only after a few years did he finally decide to break out on
his own and open his own private office. During that time things began
to look up for him career wise. He became appointed as the Ocean Cove
Memorial primary neurologist and his private practice was doing good.
Recently, Lorenzo accepted a position
as part of Ocean Cove Memorial's diagnostic team. His time is usually
spent among the hospital, his private practice, his sports interest
and hanging out with friends.
Special Notes:
Lorenzo knows three languages besides English. Spanish, Chiense and
Hindi.
